After a long summer break Barboot finally came back to Crouch End on Frieday, 6th September 2013. I was looking forward all week and I didn’t get disappointed. As I arrived in this light and warm summer night I found the Haberdashery again full of lovely stalls, people, barman Alberto serving drinks and entertaining friends and a young band playing strings and drums. While walking around in Crouch End I would find more shops with their doors open til late, offering wine, a little chat here and there, more live music and of course anything from hand-made to second hand. I tried to catch the warm and friendly atmosphere in some images although I guess this will never reflect what a fantastic time I had again. A huge Thank You to the organizers and all participating sellers and shops!
Had to give that a little post! Went to wonderful Crouch End Vintage Market “BARBOOT” last Frieday and found this stall of Annie Sparkles’ handmade gadget covers for iPhone, iPad, Kindle and even some nice once for hot-water bottles. The fabrics she uses are really nice and unique. Sure all of of these would make a good present! Have a look and get one at http://folksy.com/shops/anniesparkles
BTW Barboot vintage market in Crouch End is definitely worth a walk around! A good amount of Crouch End shops open til late, drinks, bands, stalls and people selling all sorts of bids and bobs in front of the Haberdashery. Love this place to meet friends and buy little things for sewing, decoration or presents. usually happens first Friday of the month more or less frequently. check out for next dates on Twitter @BarbootN8
