This is a selection of pictures of this year’s Renaissance Alternative Music Festival, which took place at the Electrowerkz in London, October 24th 2015 and was organised by Ays Kura from Die Kur. As the name of the festival already suggests it is all about alternative music, e.i. anything from Metal to Goth. A great place to listen to really rare and original music you would usually not find in the average live venue of London. It was also great to meet all these lovely people who are keeping London’s underground alive, everybody supports each other and it always feels like a huge family party! Hope to be there next year again and hope to see even more lovely people around!
I know I don’t often share stuff from other artist and if I do it is usually music. However this time I have to change the rules slightly as I came across something really, really lovely. It’s a comic book called ‘Vampire Free Style’, a series of 6 books so far, with beautiful illustrations and a wonderful story still to be continued. It is written and illustrated by a friend of mine, Jenika Ioffreda. She created such a sweet gothy world and whenever I opened one of the books it made me feel very relaxed and a bit melancholic as well. The ending is still all open and I can’t wait for the next edition. Now with Halloween coming up this is the perfect way of getting into the right mood!
