This is NYC Grand Central Station and One World Trade Center Subway station at rush hour. It felt very much like what I’m used to from London. The train stations are always a bit chaotic as there are many confused tourists walking towards all directions and stopping in the middle of the way. Underground or Subway stations in office areas on the other hand, might look mess and busy but once you are part of it, you can actually feel the dynamic flow.
Last week I accidentally popped into some kind of Halloween party at Old Vic Tunnels when I was on my way home to catch a late Northern Line train from Waterloo station. I got curious as I passed by the labyrinth of graffiti, this time even more colorful due to all the scary masks and spooky disguises. I was just hanging around outside, got some really nice shots as people seemed to be pleased to show off their sophisticated costumes and make up. I have to say some of them did a great job, absolutely impressive! I even got in at some point, the place seemed really cool and I think the guys and girls there had a great time. I didn’t stay long cause I felt a bit out of place with my office dress. But all in all a very nice unexpected situation I slipped in again. That’s why I love photography! – and I even caught the very last train home that night!
